First transnational meeting of the Erasmus

From the 5-10 November the first transnational meeting of the Erasmus + Project Love Every Drop took place in Slovakija, Šamorín. Teachers from  Lithuania,Turkey, Portugal, Slovakia and Hungary discussed about project strategy, the development of the project website, timetable, content of activities, as well as other important issues.  
During a meeting with a local geologist, we discovered how the river Danube had formed over the centuries in Shamorin and concentrated on the largest freshwater resources in Europe. Gabčíkovo-Nagymaros ponds are formed using Danube water power for electricity production. It is the largest hydroelectric power station in Slovakia, ensuring clean electricity supply, eliminating regular floods.
   

We also touched a bit on the history of Slovakia: we visited the capital of Bratislava and the Old Town with its strange sculptures, a few tens of kilometers from Bratislava, the castle of Červeny Kamen, which is considered one of the most beautiful small Carpathian mountains. XIII century the royal castle was rebuilt in the 16th century reinforcing the defensive walls.
